Seeing the discussion my LP thread spawned, I realized I should make a general discussion thread so that my LP wouldn't get too cluttered (no offense). I also realized that people on this forum actually play this game. For those unfamiliar with Mount and Blade, all I can say is the best way to figure out what exactly it is, is to play it.

1. Anno Domini 1257 is a total conversion mod for Mount&Blade: Warband set in 13th century Europe, Middle east and North Africa during the Crusades and Mongol Invasions. The game starts in March 1257AD, and is historically accurate to that point.

And yes, tournaments are pathetically easy since you can 1v1 your enemies with whatever equipment you bring in, just do it and bet the maximum every time. Open the launcher, select 'Configure', and click the 'Game' tab. Check the 'Enable Cheats' box, and click the 'OK' button. Then, enter one of the following codes at the indicated screen to activate the corresponding cheat function:

Note: This procedure involves editing game files; create a backup copy of the files before proceeding. First, create a new character in the game. Then, go to the character page (attributes, etc.), and choose 'Statistics' (under the character portrait). Next, click 'Export'. Once your character has been successfully exported, exit the game, and enter the game folder. Open the 'charexport' folder, which should be the top folder, and double click the file with your character's name. After saving a copy of the file, change the values to whatever desired. Start the game again, and reload your saved game. Go back to the statistics through the character page. Choose the file that you edited, and load it. Your character will now have those abilities.

Anno Domini 1257 is a mod for Mount & Blade: Warband created by 1257AD Developers. This project attempts to reflect the reality of 13th century Europe. The starting point of the journey is year 1257 AD and attempts to be as historically accurate as possible. From this point on the player and NPC lords shape this land and fight for supremacy and control of the continent.
