@SteffenMB For mame4all (037b5) your neogeo.zip should have the following files: neo-geo.rom, ng-sfix.rom, ng-sm1.rom and your mslug.zip should have: mslugc1.rom, mslugc2.rom, mslugc3.rom, mslugc4.rom, mslugm1.rom, mslugp1.rom, mslugs1.rom, mslugv1.rom, mslugv2.rom and additionaly it could have the same files as neogeo.zip Hope this helps. Neogeo.zip With Ng-lo.rom Neo-geo.rom And Ng-sfix.rom
I have a question on Mame, I hope someone can help as I am new to all this. Any answer will be appreciated but will need to be a simple form so I can understand it.
Right, here goes.
I have Mame 0.36 and have just got version 0.60. I bought 0.36 from a computer fair with games on it ( I know it supposed to be free, I've just read all the read me files that come with it, but like I said, I'm new to this ), anyway, there are no NeoGeo games on the disc which is understandable. I did a bit of research and found that I needed a file called neogeo.zip, this contains:-
ng-sfix.rom
ng-sm1.rom
neo-geo.rom
ng-lo.rom
From what I understand it is supposed to be put in the roms folder of Mame or NMane etc, I have tried in zipped and non zipped form and the games do not work. Could someone PLEASE tell me what I am doing wrong or missing out, I would be very grateful. Thanking you in advance
