[credits:dror520_giasso]This patch is for John Petrucci leads sounds on Dream Theater !!! it works really well for me... I hope you will enjoy it...I don't really use channel A because I have another patch with a beautiful clean tone... but you can use it if you want !!! It's a upgrade from my older patch !!! I believe it's better but you decide ... you have the same exact delay settings: 460 and 602. Hope you'll give good comments !!! 1kversão 1 7 de jan. de 2012 09:14Elias Hermenegildo

[credits:dror520_giasso]This is a good sound for Petrucci's Lead sound !!I switch the pickups all the time they both sound great !!!!You have two delays like Petrucci has one in 602 and the other one in 460 ...You can control the Mix of both Delays with Pedal 2 Horizontal !! 1kversão 1 7 de jan. de 2012 09:10Elias Hermenegildo

[credits:osiris7_giasso]This is my tone for Octavarium solo...It may not sound that great on it's own, but it sounds much better while recording with mic facing the amp...Feel free to turn the 'Cabinet' module on and use only channel A... cheers 1kversão 1 7 de jan. de 2012 09:33Elias Hermenegildo

[credits:dario_giasso]I use this one for the song Surrounded by Dream Theater. Use channel B for lead and turn on function 2 for the delay effect on the solo. 1kversão 1 7 de jan. de 2012 09:22Elias Hermenegildo

[credits:osiris7_giasso]Ch A - a very compressed sound, imho best used for 'Through her eyes'... i tried to simulate the early Petrucci sound (when he used Ibanez)Ch B- some acoustic sound, may be used to simulate piezo 1kversão 1 7 de jan. de 2012 09:29Elias Hermenegildo

Tried to copy the sound of John Petrucci...Ch A is for lead stuff like Goodnight Kiss, Octavarium Solo etc...Ch B is for rhythm, heavy 'Train of Thought' sound...Turn Mod/Efx2 on to get a chorus like in 'A Rite of Passage'rock on, DT fans m/ 1kversão 1 7 de jan. de 2012 09:25Elias Hermenegildo

Another quick note, if you have an input to your power amp on your amp, plug it into there and bypass the amp's preamp using the G9.2TT as your preamp. 0 RL00011 20 Nov 04, 2011 12:40 AM. Set the delay time to about 1.5s and the feedback should last about 20s. With the 2nd pedal (V) you control the signal sent to the extern loop.

  1. Screencasting demo of the Random Patch Generator Software for the Zoom G9.2tt / G7.1ut Guitar Effects Console. The G9RPG program can be downloaded from: http.
  2. In my opinion, if you liked the G9 better than the G3, you should not bother with the G5, since they use essentialy the same technology. I never played the older generation from zoom, but I was reading the G9.2tt manual yesterday, and found that most of the effects on the G5/G3 seems to be the same from the last gen.
  3. I use a Zoom G9.2tt, and I can explain what is probably going on here. The short answer is that multi-fx pedals like these don't often play too well with valve amps, because of that extra gain kick they provide to the signal, even through clean channels.
